Lemon ginger turmeric detox drink
Going for this lemon ginger turmeric detox drink! Never say I don’t need a detox drink, a detox drink or detox juice is not to make you lose weight, but rather to cleanse the liver…
We can’t stop eating high-fat dishes and recipes whether they’re good for your health or bad, and there’s only one organ in our body that takes care of all the filtering, and that’s the liver. .
Know that you can do all the diets in the world, without losing weight and this because of the liver which no longer works properly because it is well suffocated by all this fat and that is why a detox is always beneficial !
Cleansing the liver is essential even for skinny people, so don’t think that because you’re skinny, your body doesn’t need you to take care of it. A detox is good for everyone, anytime!
the lemon is an excellent source of vitamin C, and it contains flavonoid compounds that have antioxidant and anti-cancer properties.
the ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory that gives protection against cancer, as it gives a boost to your immune system.
Ginger is my go-to for any kind of tummy problem.
Ginger increases the rate at which food empties from the stomach into the intestines; therefore, it helps when one has problems:
– acid reflux
turmericit is from the ginger family, it is also an excellent anti-inflammatory, rich in antioxidants.
– It protects the cardio system well, and helps to lower bad cholesterol.
– It protects against Alzheimer’s disease, and it may help prevent certain types of cancer, and studies have shown that it inhibits the growth and metastasis of cancer cells (meaning it keeps cancer from spreading propagate).
– Curcumin, the main ingredient of turmeric, supports the immune system in its ability to fight infections and has analgesic properties (goodbye headaches).
You can also add a pinch of black pepper to this turmeric tea, as it is known to help “activate” the healing effects of turmeric.
Why is this lemon-ginger-turmeric drink a detox recipe?
When I say “detox tea”, you have to understand that this drink is not a meal replacement.
The phrase “detox tea” seems to be the new marketing phrase being used to promote products that – incidentally – contain questionable ingredients (like caffeine and laxatives) that can actually dehydrate you.
Unlike this homemade detox tea which is made with simple, real ingredients designed to support healthy digestion and immune system function.
I drink this lemon ginger tea daily in addition to my regular diet.
What are the health benefits of this lemon ginger turmeric tea?
Sip this caffeine-free detox tea any time of the day to:
– Strengthen your immune system and fight infections
– Increase digestion and intestinal health
– Reduce pain and inflammation
– Increase weight loss
Frequently asked questions:
Should I peel the ginger?
You may not peel the ginger if you wash it thoroughly before boiling it.
Make sure any dirt is completely removed since you will be drinking the liquid it is boiling in.
But know that it’s super easy to peel ginger, just use a spoon to scrape the skin or a peeler before boiling.
Should I use fresh ginger?
Personally, I prefer fresh ginger for this lemon ginger tea.
That said, you can use ground ginger as an alternative. Start with 1 teaspoon of ground ginger and add more to taste over time if you want an intense drink.
ADVICE : You can peel and slice fresh ginger root and store it in a freezer bag in the freezer for up to 3 months.
So you can buy a bigger piece of ginger root and use it multiple times.
Can I drink this ginger tea during pregnancy?
Personally, I took this drink during my last pregnancy, mainly to relieve morning sickness and pregnancy fatigue.
I reduced the turmeric because it gave me heartburn, and sometimes I eliminated it completely and left only the fresh ginger.
