Hello everyone,

We love dry cakes because it’s always easy to make, and these shortbread or lemony rings with slivered almonds do not stand out, they are so good, melting in the mouth and extra tasty, that we won’t stop not one piece.

Very delicious very crispy shortbread cakes, with a very strong lemon taste, and the crunch of slivered almonds grilled beforehand, for more flavor, what more can you ask for.

For me, these almond shortbread cookies, or rather lemon rings with slivered almonds, have been my favorite recipe for a while now, because I don’t feel like eating only butter and flour, I really like this pep and this burst of delicacies in the mouth.

By the way, just recently, I had shared with you the recipe for Shortbread with poppy seeds and lemon, which I don’t know how had disappeared extra quickly from the cupboard??

For me shortbread cakes are a must, especially during Aid el fitr, my husband really likes jam shortbread, but me, if I don’t make a kind of lemon-flavored shortbread, I’m not. satisfied.

The icing that brings a lot to this recipe is very simple and without much effort, just a mixture of freshly squeezed lemon juice and icing sugar, a few fork strokes and it’s ready.

For less mess, we place the lemon icing in a piping bag, and we do our decoration very efficiently, moreover you can see all the tips in the video that I have attached to the recipe, you will see that this recipe is going to be in your favorites list very quickly.
