Hello everyone,

I am sharing with you today the recipe for these delicious budget cakes from the Samira book series. Glazed flan Kaikaates, or as we write k3ik3ates, made by Lunetoiles.

I had the chance to taste these cakes, because Lunetoiles sent me a package after the aid, moreover if you notice the first two photos I took them, because the almond flowers were a little deformed during transport, I had to redo them for the photos, because Lunetoiles did not take final photos of this cake.

the cake is very easy to make, very melting in the mouth, with the crispy layer of icing, a pleasure in the mouth, I advise you to make these little delights.

dough :

  • 250 g soft butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 glass of icing sugar about 100g
  • vanilla
  • 2 sachets of vanilla flan
  • plain flour over 500g

decoration:

  • almond paste
  • shiny food
  • food coloring
  • In a bowl, mix the butter with the sugar, then add the eggs and the flan, mix, add the vanilla and then gradually the flour until a firm paste is obtained.

  • Shape a large sausage and cut it into equal pieces, then from these pieces form small sausages, join the ends to form a bracelet.

  • Place all the bracelets in a floured dish and bake in a hot oven until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Prepare the frosting:

  • beat the egg white then add the water, the vanilla flower and the lemon juice. Add the icing sugar little by little until the mixture is thick enough to coat the cakes.

  • Dip the bracelets in this glaze and place on a rack, let dry. If desired, you can decorate the top with food gloss.

  • Roll out the colored marzipan and cut out flowers with the cookie cutter, or use an imprint mold and attach it to the bracelet

  • Present in boxes.
